Chapter 1

Charles and Scarlett are friends and share a flat together. They are invited to Laura's and Angus' wedding in the west of England. Their alarm clock doesn't ring so they have to rush to the wedding. Luckily, they arrive on time. Charles meets Carrie, a beautiful young American woman and starts talking to her. They end up sleeping together in a hotel. The following day, Carrie has to go back to the USA, whereas Charles has to go to another wedding.

Amadeu - I've never met her.The only thing that I can do is study today with him

If I were you, I would be quite worried about this. Boy friends can influence your friend's life a lot.
Obviously, you should try to talk to her about i t and try to found out what the problem is. You must speak honestly to her and say shat you think.
As for her parents or her boyfriend you shouldn't talk to them. Morever you should ignore the boyfriend.

A description of a building


The Colosseum is situated in the centre of Roma. It was designed by Vespasian and Titus and it was built between 70 and 72 AD. The Colosseum was used to host gladiators shows as well as a variety of other events. The amphitheater is made of white stone. From the outside it is an enormous building. Inside, it has a spectacular square. Two hundred and forty mast corbels were positioned around the top of the attic. I've visited the Colosseum one or two times now, and the things which I like best are the nice facade.

English Learning

In this second turn I learned to use first condicional, present perfect and past simple, and I practise a lot of dialogues and writtings. I can practise the reading and listening. I think that the work in this year is better.
These oral presentation is boring because the people doing this work the last one day.
My opinion is good.

Amadeu - It's 500€

Sergi - That's very expensive. Can you put a lot of games on it?

Amadeu - Let's see. It says about 10

Sergi - That's not enough for me. I've got a lot of games!

Amadeu - What about this one?

Sergi - It's 1000€. That's much too expensive for me.

Amadeu - You can put 100 games on it!

Sergi - This one looks good. That sounds perfect. It's 800 but you get 20€ of free songs from the internet. And it's got space for 200 games.

Amadeu - That sounds perfect. I want one.

In my opinion our lives will be more difficult and dangerous in the future. We will produce pollution and weapons for war.

I think it’s important that we will respect each other.
If we live on other planets, we will have enough food and medicines.

In general I feel pessimistic about the future. I believe that people won’t learn to be responsible and to live in peace.
