Amadeu's football

Football has existed since 1863, but its origins are more than 24 centuries ago.
It started in China, but now there are clubs all over the world. It is the most popular team sport in the world.

The biggest international Football competition in the world is the World Cup, which starated in 1930. Women have competed in the World Cup, which started in 1930.

Football has always traditionally been a men's sport. But there have been women's teams in England since 1895.

One of my favourite teams is Barcelona Football Club, and my favourite player is Lionel Messi.
Messi made his official debut on the 16th October 2004. He is the best football player in the world.
